Transferability Showcase: Innovation in Business Engagement
Colleagues from across both universities were invited to a workshop to share good practice in business and community engagement. Networking oppoortunities led to new relationships that will form the basis of future collaborations.
The workshop disseminated business and community engagement practice including:
- SME engagement
- Customer Relationship Management
- regional and virtual networks
- shared outputs from a collaborative Nottingham project (Ingenuity Knowledge Hub)
- and facilitated ideas exchange between colleagues involved with business or community engagement.
A specific result was the launch of the Birmingham Business Club as a gateway for businesses, particularly local SMEs, into the University.
