COMPARE Launch 

COMPARE is a unique collaboration between the Universities of Birmingham and Nottingham that brings together leading researchers to develop novel methods for visualising single membrane proteins and to use these to identify new approaches for prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease and cancer angiogenesis.

We are honoured that Prof Brian Kobilka, winner of the Nobel Prize, Chemistry 2012, has agreed to speak at the official launch on the 18th April 2018. The title of Professor Kobilka’s talk is: Structural insights into the dynamic process of G protein coupled receptor activation.

 The Seminar will commence at 16:00 in Lecture Theatre 1, Medical School, Queen’s Medical Centre, University of Nottingham and will be followed by a drinks and canapé reception in the Medical School Foyer.
