COMPARE Nottingham have now installed a Zeiss CellDiscoverer 7, an automated microscope for live cell imaging.

The Zeiss CD7 is a fully automated microscope providing confocal and widefield high content imaging in four channels from 4 to 50x magnification, including water-immersion objectives. It has capability to image single coverslip up to 1536-well plates. The additional Airyscan capability allows super-resolution imaging (<100nm resolution). Capabilities include full environmental control, on the fly single cell and population analysis and find/re-find, allowing low magnification scanning to find cells of interest and automated high magnification scan on objects of interest.
