The COMPARE Annual Research Symposium took place on Friday 28th September 2018 at Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre, Birmingham. The Symposium hosted 119 delegates from across both Universities.

External speakers included; Robert Insall, University of Glasgow and Kurt Ballmer-Hofer, University of Basel, COMPARE colleagues included Dylan Owen, Rob Lane, Steve Thomas, Steve Briddon, Jeanette Woolard, Caroline Gorvin, Iain Styles, Diana Carvalehira-Alcobia, Yi Sun, Chloe Peach and Adhullah Khan.

Abstracts and research posters were submitted and displayed by 29 COMPARE Post Docs and PhD Students.
