Title:
48 Hours, 12 minds, 2 universities, 1 cause
Project Outcomes:
This project brought together students from both universities for a collaborative weekend where they learnt about the way their institutions operate as a charity, and the impact of philanthropy.
Over the weekend they benefitted from presentations from academics leading on research into childhood cancers at their universities, and also worked with experts in the fields of marketing, fundraising, and event planning.
Students were then tasked with planning an event to raise funds and awareness for research into childhood cancer.
