Finalyearmodules

Title:

Sharing best practice on effective methods of allocating final year modules and dissertations

Project Overview:

This project set out to address how to meet students' requests for final year modules and dissertations. The two Schools shared experiences and this has helped to inform a complete redesign of level 3 modules at the School of English at Nottingham.

Caps have been removed from almost all modules to ensure students get their first choice. This has necessitated the development of new ways of team-teaching, whilst retaining specialisation. Consultation with students has been undertaken and the new level 3 curriculum was implemented in September 2016.
