Title:

TRANSFORM: Teaching Resources for Applying Numeracy and Statistics For Objective Research Methods

Project:

Training in research methods is crucial to the transformation that characterises the student experience in a research-intensive university environment.

An understanding of systematic approaches to research is central to students’ ability to engage with their course, lecturers, and the primary literature. It is also the key to enabling students to become practitioners of their chosen subject, and hence to developing the next generation of postgraduates and academics.

This project will develop and disseminate on-line resources to support teaching and learning of applied statistics and research methods in foundation, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses in the sciences, social sciences, and medicine/veterinary science at UK and overseas campuses.
