Title:
21st century healthcare: Assessing the challenges and futures for health organisation and management
Project:
There is growing awareness and need for medical undergraduates to have key skills and awareness of the management, organisation, and policy contexts in which they work.
This project will work with educators, professional representatives and current students, across both universities, to co-design and pilot a multi-format transitional course for entrant level medical and healthcare undergraduates.
The course will address the recognised challenges for the next generation of health professionals to understand better the complex systems of care organisation and delivery within which their careers will develop, introducing participants to the extensive experience both HSMC and CHILL have in leading research and practice based agendas in the areas of health organisation and management.
