Making Change Happen Through Collaborative Working
Who is it aimed at?
The conference is aimed at a broad audience across the University of Nottingham and University of Birmingham, including senior academics and professionals, senior professional services staff and operational leaders.
Aims and learning outcomes
The conference will focus on the practical aspects of collaborative working, including how to build sustainable, productive and trusted collaborative working relationships within a digital world.
The conference aims to:
- expose leaders to new thinking and research in the fields of collaborative leadership and how to develop sustainable relationships when working in a digital age
- improve collaborative working within and between universities, and with other external organisations
- explore the future of the higher education as a key collaborator in research and teaching, and how the enhancement of collaborative leadership within and across all departmental boundaries can support this
- consider the enhancement of collaborative practice within and across professional service areas, and the opportunities for collaboration beyond University boundaries using new technologies
- identify potential collaborative working opportunities between the two institutions
- share existing practices and opportunities for further research and the development of shared professional practices, stretching current thinking into these new areas of development
- provide access to a comprehensive toolkit of collaborative leadership approaches for you to use in your working context
These events are open to University of Nottingham and University of Birmingham staff only, and have been funded jointly by both institutions, so are free of charge to delegates.
